Existing Activities (Revised)
Bazaar - being the important activity around the site , existed from the early days of shrine. Pilgrims who visited the site from far off lands relied heavilly on these bazar not only as a source of food, gift items and flowers but also as a source of entertainment and activity. It went through from various stages of existence .
Springs which sprouts out from the foot hills of the shrine serves as a source of fascination for every mind in addition to that it is used as medicated water and water for daily bath.

History and Myths- Crocodiles (revised)
There are numerous myths about the origin of Crocodiles. Archaeological research claims that during the massive flooding these sea monsters moved to this place, whereas another research claims the Bronze age settlement in the locality which used to worship these monsters in the period of 2500-1700. Apart from this, the popular version claims that these Crocodiles were actually the lice of Hazrat Lal Shahbaz Qalandar who gifted it to Mangho Pir as blessings. Which then turned in to huge crocodiles. The diagram below shows the evolution of tiny particle in to a giant predator with a mighty influence on the world.

Manghopir's History is covered in myths and folktales. There are various versions of history regarding the origin of the Pir Mangho. Mangho-pir , as the name suggests, is named after a famous Sufi saints whose origins remains in the dark. Out of many myths the most famous being that the Mangho baba was an Arab warrior who took place in a war-against-mongols of India. Diagram A shows the journey route and the increasing number of difficulties which he faced from Mecca to Delhi.
During his stay in the holy city of Mecca, he received "Basharat" - A popular Muslim belief in which one receives instructions or guidance from The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) - to reach Pakpatan in the service of Hazrat Fareed Shakar Ganj. He followed the instructions, he left holy city of Mecca in search of spiritual upliftment. Diagram C shows the growing interest of Mangho in the spiritual quest. Baba Fareed Shakar Ganj asked him to leave for an ancient place of Baluchistan Plateau which is now known after his own name - Manghopir. He reached there with sense of responsibility (represented as squares in Diagram C).

Archaeological research suggests that the site had religious significance in the Bronze age to early hindus. They used to worship on the more or less exact location where the shrine is present currently.
This is the another reason of why people of different religion are also attracted to this shrine.
After mangho's stay here in the present location, many other sufis and saints visited him and blessed him and learned from him. Few famous names are Hazrat Lal Shahbaz Qalandar (LSQ) of sehwan, Bahauddin Zakaria (BZ) of Multan and Jaladin Bokhari (JB).
After reaching Delhi and attempting successful raids against Mongols, Mangho decides to go to Mecca for Hajj. This journey becomes the anchor point of his life because during this journey of Hajj, he meets different people and learns more and more about Islam. This eventually pays him off with enlightenment and to an entirely new paradigm. Diagram B shows the Path of Enlightenment.
